Daughters,
Welcome!
This web site is an offspring
of the book, Divine Daughters.
It owes its existence to a learning community of friends who give voice
to daughters’ wisdom. Remember that every woman is someone's daughter.
Every woman embodies the legacy of some culture, some people, some place
and may carry the as yet unvoiced wisdom of many generations.
After seven intense years of helping to care for my aging parents, I
am bringing renewed passion, poetry, and music to the work (and website)
of Divine Daughters. Please bear with me as this website is revamped
to include “voice blessings” and music samples—e.g. “Daughterwise
Suite,” a collection of songs recently commissioned by Muse, one
of Ohio’s premier women’s choirs. I’ll also include excerpts
from forthcoming books about daughterly wisdom and reviews of products
and services that ease the load for caregiving daughters. Please bookmark
this page and visit often for free music downloads and articles.
